Members, activists and volunteers of your local Conservative Association ran a very successful stall in the Mill Hill branch of Waitrose on Langstone Way on Sunday 16th November.
Your local Conservatives were collecting food donations for the local Trussell Trust food bank in Colindale and managed to collect 4 crates worth of non-perishable food donations that will be delivered to the local food bank.
Local Conservative members and volunteers were asking local Mill Hill shoppers on their weekly shopping rounds to purchase an extra non-perishable food item or two and donate these items to their Mitzvah Day stall. All the food donations collected are to be delivered to the local food bank in Colindale.
Local Conservative Association Chairman and Mill Hill Councillor, Val Duschinsky commented, "it was great to see such strong support for a great cause like Mitzvah Day from our members and volunteers. It was also fantastic to see the generousity of local Mill Hill shoppers in their support for our Mitzvah Day stall."
The Conservative Association would like to thank all those who helped on the stall, from local Councillors to local Association members. Your support is very much appreciated.
