I was born in Hendon. And it’s such an honour to be selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the place I was born.
Having lived locally for my whole life, I have first-hand experience of the issues that matter most to local residents.
Whether that’s protecting local jobs and the businesses that make our community unique, from increasing costs and a changing high street. Improving our local air quality by stopping the over-development of our community or making sure that Barnet gets its fair share of extra police.
In fact, delivering extra police is a particular priority for me. As a serving Magistrate Judge in North West London, I know how important it is that Barnet gets its fair share of extra police to tackle burglary and anti-social behaviour in our community.
And as a school Governor I know how important the best facilities and resources are to giving children the best education.
That’s why, along with delivering new health centres to cut the NHS backlog locally and stopping more charges being placed on local drivers, a key part of our plan for Hendon is investing more money to renovate and improve our local schools.
More jobs and investment in local businesses. Improving air quality by stopping over-development. Getting our fair share of extra police. New health care centres for Barnet. Protecting drivers from more charges. The best schools for local children.
